Our History

The International Hotel and Tourism Industry Management School is Thailand’s first English-language hospitality management school.

Our school was founded in 1988 by Col. Somchai Hiranyakit, the former Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and former Vice-Chairman of the World Tourism Organization.

Our current campus was completed in 1992, with recent additions including the I-TIM Culinary Academy in 2014 and the front office mock-up in 2017.

Our award-winning academic program follows a Swiss-American curriculum that incorporates traditional Swiss service practices and American hospitality management techniques.
